The first real construction of any kind that we did was building the deck. We decided we can insulate within our trailer frame and decided to deck directly down onto the frame with 3/4″ OSB. This was all done on one beautiful Saturday.

Steps:

• drill holes in frame for lag bolts
• lay down plywood sheet
• pre-drill screw holes and lag bolt holes
• glue down sheet with pl-400 low VOC glue
• screw down sheet
• repeat until done (cutting sheets to fit)

We used as many full sheets as possible, this only took five 4’x8′ sheets to do. If anyone wants I can update this and name which brand screws etc that we used.
